Juicy J may have to push back the release date for his upcoming solo album Stay Trippy. Just weeks after announcing a July 2nd release date, the rapper tells Karmalooptv.com's Carissa Rossi that his record label wants to postpone the release so they can put out another single from the album.
Apparently, the label believes the forthcoming single is "super hot" and wants it to grow prior to the album hitting stores. While he wouldn't nail down a release date for the single, he did describe the track as a "club banger." Last year, Juicy released the album's first single "Bandz a Make Her Dance." The track has since been certified platinum.
Juicy J also opened up about the numerous artists he's enlisted for collaborations on the album. Claiming to have nearly 80 songs recorded for the album, Juicy J says he tried to get in the lab with as many different people as possible. Among the artists Juicy J has recorded songs with for "Stay Trippy" are Justin Timberlake, A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean.
