Rapper The Game is doing his part to ease the pain of the family of a seven-year-old boy killed in a shooting this week in Los Angeles.
The rapper tells TMZ.com that he's already raised $7,000 for Talib Pecantte's funeral expenses. Game explains that part of the money was given to him by "top-ranking gang members" from numerous street gangs across L.A.
He is also trying to broker a ceasefire between rival gangs that he hopes will last through the holiday season. If the peace treaty lasts, Game hopes that it will continue into 2014.
Earlier this year, Game opened his wallet to pay for the funeral of a six-year-old girl who was shot and killed in Los Angeles. He also teamed up with Drake to help pay for the funerals of five family members who were killed in a house fire in Ohio.
