Timbaland is voicing an apology to Jay-Z through music.  The hit-making producer and Jay-Z had a falling out during the recording of Jay's album "The Blueprint 3."

In an interview with Revolt TV, Timbaland says one song on his upcoming album is dedicated to saying sorry to Jay.  Aptly titled "Sorry," the track features singer Keri Hilson, who was accused of dissing Jay's wife Beyoncé on her 2009 song "Turnin Me On."

While Keri recounts the controversy with Beyoncé, Timbaland raps verses about how missing Jay's 40th birthday hurt him "so deep."  He also asks Jay to accept his apology.

Timbaland and Jay-Z have since reconciled and recently teamed up for a number of tracks on Jay's latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
