Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, T.I. & More React To Cyntoia Brown's Tragic Case

Celebrities are using their powerful voices to react to the unjust case of Cyntoia Brown

For those who may not be familiar with the story, Brown was only 16 years old when she was arrested for killing a Nashville realtor named Johnny Allen. Allen bought -- Yes, bought -- Brown from a 24-year-old man named "Cut Throat" who forced the teen into sex slavery and would sell her body for money. That's how she ended up in Allen's home, which was filled with firearms.

While Brown was at the much-older realtor's home, she noticed that he was acting very erratic and scary. In fear of her life, Brown shot and killed him with a gun she kept in her purse. This was in 2004. So, for the past 13 years, the former sex slave -- who was abused and tortured for years by multiple older men during her minor years -- has been serving time in jail and awaiting her sentencing.

Unfortunately, Yahoo reports that the child rape survivor was sentenced on Tuesday (Nov. 21) as an adult to life in prison for killing one of her rapists, Allen, all of those years ago. Moreover, Brown won't be eligible for parole until she's 67 years old.

Completely outraged by this ridiculous sentencing, celebs have took to social media to slam the judicial system for the handling of Brown's case. From Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, T.I. and more; celebs want Brown to be brought to justice because they -- and millions of others -- feel like she shouldn't be punished for killing her much-older rapist when she was just a child victim of years of forced sex slavery.
