Michigan State Police Cracking Down On I-94 Freeway This Week

In an effort to reduce the number of traffic accidents nationwide, Michigan motorist will see an increased State Police presence on freeways for it's "Eyes on 94" campaign - no through Friday (Dec 13th).

State troopers on I-94 cracking down on commercial motor vehicle violations, such as distracted driving, following too close, improper passing, speeding and improper lane use. 

"We hope to increase awareness by being visible on the I-94 freeway, which is prone to weather-related crashes involving interstate commercial vehicle drivers this time of the year," said Capt. Michael Krumm, commander of the MSP Commerical Vehicle Enforcement Division.
